Trust Your Intuition
Your mind is powerful, possibly the most powerful tool on the planet. It works consciously to allow you to think and act, and it operates unconsciously to run your entire body. It was a human mind that created computers, and we know how amazing they are. However, there is something that can be almost as powerful as the mind and that is the intuition, that part of you that operates primarily in the unconscious mind. Actually, we can’t even explain where intuition derives from—the conscious, sub-conscious or unconscious mind—or even the mind at all! Perhaps it’s an energy that exists just outside our awareness that springs from the Universal mind.

Allowing
Allowing is like trusting. Trust that you’ve done all you can and turn it over to higher power or the universe or whatever works for you. We can only do so much, and then we have to let go and trust. Like the trapeze artist letting go and flying free floating for a few seconds. Like the seeds you plant in the ground knowing that tomato plants and ultimately tomatoes will grow. Get out of your own way and allow the LOA to work in your life, bringing you all you desire.

Beyond Your Focus
A primary component of the LOA that goes beyond where you place the focus in your thoughts, words, and actions is “allowing.” Abraham, channeled by Esther Hicks, often talks about allowing or letting go. This is akin to saying your prayers at night and going to sleep “knowing” all is well and your prayers are being answered. If it doesn’t come about right away, keep monitoring your thoughts, words, and actions, which have an old habit of worrying or complaining…. “nothing’s happening.”

Align Your Energies
Great things work when all the energies are aligned in pursuit of your goal. When you harbor thoughts of doubt or fear, such as “I can’t see how this is ever going to work,” you are getting in your own way and stopping the LOA from bringing you results. When you speak words of negativity and lack, such as “I don’t have enough money to do that,” you are getting in your own way and not allowing the LOA to do its work. And when you take actions that are counterproductive to your commitments, such as eating foods not on your diet plan, you are getting in your own way.
